This song's lyrics were inspired one summer night when Naomi observed a really bright moon. She initially was reminded of Psalm 148 and that all creation worships God. Upon further contemplation she thought about how God has made us to reflect His character to others in the same way that the moon reflects the light of the sun. That night she felt the Holy Spirit put these verses in her heart.
The song is a reflection on God's character being seen and glorified in His creation and how much more were we created to give God glory and reflect His character to all around us. The third verse is a reference to Luke 19:40 where Jesus said that if His disciples kept quiet and did not offer praise to Him, even the stones would cry out praising God and rejoicing because of Him.
